Stainless steel honeycomb panel is a three-layer sandwich panel, consisted of two layers of stainless steel sheets as top & bottom skins bonded to a core material of aluminium honeycomb core by using two components PU glue. It’s a high rigidity but light weighted panel.
Stainless steel materials are commonly used for architectural decoration, elevators, furnitures etc, so the market demand is big. But general solid stainless steel sheet or panel is too heavy and expensive, so that's why in LZ PANELS we make them into honeycomb panels to bring a better option for the market.
Durable Material. Stainless steel honeycomb panels have all the original properties of what solid stainless steel sheets have: Good anti-corrosive & high durable property, high tensile strength as top panel skin is stainless steel sheet which contains chromium, nickel & molybdenum.
Flat & light weighted. The hollow hexagonal honeycomb core structure gives the stainless steel honeycomb panels benefits of what solid panels won’t have, including: super flatness, light weighted, sound insulation etc.
Fire retardant. The panels are fire rated, classified as A2 FR grade, deemed as noncombustible materials.
Recyclable. Stainless steel honeycomb panel is fully recyclable material, it can be separated into stainless steel sheets & aluminium core when the panel is no longer need. That will reduce impacts to our mother earth.
Easy installation. Stainless steel honeycomb panels can be cut to size, prefabricated to required shape as per customer’s drawing, making it easy and handy to be assembled or installed at project sites.
Many color options. Stainless steel honeycomb panel can be made with various finishes such as brushed, mirror, embossments and also can be any PVD colors.
Architectural purposes. Such as building façade cladding, building interior wall decoration & partition, ceiling etc, for achieving flat, neat and nice decoration effect.
Elevator cabins, escalator side panels. Not much supporting frame or reinforcement like solid stainless steel sheet is needed, as the stainless steel honeycomb panel itself is thick & strong enough.
Furniture purposes. Such as cabinet body panels, door panels etc.
