Fiber Cement (Calcium Silicate) Sandwich Panel is a type of sandwich panel consisted of fiber cement boards or calcium silicate boards as skins and a foam core of PUF, XPS or EPS.
Fiber cement board is made of cement reinforced with cellulose fibers. Calcium silicate board a mixture of portland cement, fine silica, special cellulose fibers. Both of them are inorganic material that is durable to be used for sliding walls, partition walls, ceiling etc. Making these materials with a foam core will make the whole structure more rigid but light weighted.
Fiber cement board and calcium silicate board both durable materials, because they are inorganics, they won’t corrode nor damaged by termites like wood.
The fiber cement (calcium silicate) sandwich panel is rigid and flat, it won’t get warped.
Adding the foam core of PUR, XPS or EPS, will make the sandwich panels light weighted but thermal insulated and sound proof.
Surface of fiber cement (calcium silicate) sandwich panel can be painted to get any colors like general cements.
Fiber Cement (Calcium Silicate) Sandwich Panel is used for exterior façade cladding. Especially for building that wants to have a good thermal insulation effect.
Fiber Cement (Calcium Silicate) Sandwich Panel is used for interior partition wall. The sandwich panel thickness can be made as required, such as 50mm, 70mm, 100mm etc which can be directly be used as a wall. Easy to install.
