Introduction of China Fibreglass Foam Sandwich Panel for Caravan:

Fibreglass Foam Sandwich Panel is a composite material. It is consisted of 3 layers: fibreglass sheet on top skin, a foam core, and another fibreglass sheet on bottom. This fibreglass sandwich panel can be cut, drilled as per drawing, so it's suitable to be used for making caravan bodies. Also suitable to use for refrigerated truck bodies.

Why do we use China Fibreglass Foam Sandwich Panel for Caravan:

The main reason to use a sandwich panel rather than a single layer material, is to have a good combination of good properties from different materials. Fibreglass sheet in single layer, let say 2mm or 3mm thick, has a good UV resistant, impact resistant, chemical resistant, scratch resistant properties. But as a single material, it's not high strength enough to be used as caravan body wall panels. While foam core such as PU foam, XPS foam, EPS foam, all have good thermal insulation properties but they are not rigid enough and the surface is not a decorative surface. So we laminate fibreglass with foam core to get a sandwich panel, that can offer good panel strength, nice surface decoration effect, thermal insulation properties.

2. Panel thickness: as required. From 20mm up to 100mm

3. Foam core otpions: PU foam, XPS foam, EPS foam

5. Applications: Caravan bodies, truck bodies.
