Wooden Color Wood Grain Aluminum Honeycomb Panel

Wooden Color Aluminum Honeycomb Panel surface is finished with imitation of real wood grain & pattern. It's actually an aluminium panel, but coated to look like wood. Nowadays there are several ways to make wood grain on aluminium honeycomb panel:

Color coating: it is a continous roller coating process. The aluminium will be firstly coated with a primer. This primer coating gives the basic color of the wood grain. For example: if you need a white wood, a brown wood, or a reddish wood pattern, then we need to adjust the primer paint to get the right basic color tone. AND The texture of wood is carved onto rollers, and the rollers will bring the paint onto aluminum surface when the aluminum passes the roller. At last, a clear coating will be applied on top to make the paint more durable. And with development of coating technology, now we can also do embossment on aluminium surface, or by using anti-scratch paint to make these wooden colors, so when we touches the surface we can feel some roughness on the surface, very similar to real wood.

Film laminated surface. With this way of manufacturing, the wood grain is made on a PET or PVC film. And this film is glued or adhered on to the aluminum honeycomb panel. A wooden color made in this way, is used more for interior wall decoration, ceiling, partition walls, furniture. The film surface can be smooth, it can also be made with a feel of texture to make it feels like real wood. It's also quite flexible to produce wood grain aluminum panel in this method when quantity is small, because the surface is glued.

How is the Wooden Color Wood Grain Aluminum Honeycomb Panel comparing to real wood?

Wooden color aluminium honeycomb panel is a metal product, it will not be corroded by humid environment, or bitten by termites. It will be more durable comparing to real wood and with less necess of maintainence. 

The aluminum honeycomb panel is lightweight material, because of the honeycomb core is made of high strength but thin aluminium foil. It's easier to carry and handle, while real wood is heavy.
